The 24 Karat Club Southeastern United States (24K Club SEUS) welcomed two new members at their Forty-Second Annual Banquet held at the Atlanta Country Club on August 6. The 24K Club Class of 2016 includes Stark Harbour, owner Southern Jewelry Insurance and Michael Lebowitz, Director of Jewelry White Pine Trading LLC.

Harbour has been the owner of Southern Jewelry Insurance since 2008 covering the southeastern states of Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. He represents Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company, Hanover Insurance, Lockton Companies LP and Chubb Unblocked. Harbour is passionate about the security of jewelry professionals and manages both the SC and GA Security Alert networks. He is a regular contributor to several regional and national crime networks. Previous employment includes Grimes Insurance, Northside Insurance, Mass Mutual Insurance Company and Merrill Lynch Pierce, Fenner & Smith LP. His firm maintains membership in the Georgia Jewelers Association, South Carolina Jewelers Association and the Southern Jewelry Travelers Association (managers and producers of the Atlanta Jewelry Show).

Lebowitz has been with White Pine since 2013. He travels throughout the United Sates and Canada for the company buying, appraising, and implementing inventory augmentation and retail partnership programs. A true industry veteran, Lebowitz boasts over 46 years in the jewelry industry. His previous employment includes stints with notable companies such as Buxbaum Jewelry Advisors, Royal Jewelers, Shreve, Crump & Low and Gordon Brothers Corporation. ?The jewelry field has never been just a job for me, its been a passionate career,? he said. ?Joining an organization with history such as that of the 24 Karat Club fuels that passion with the knowledge of a group of hand selected leaders from the industry coming together to foster the interests of the industry. I?m excited and honored.?
